Music by Enigma - Sadeness, Pt. 1 The artist behind the music At the time of painting "Strength", I lived quite isolated in the Appalachian Mountains of West Virginia. I worked through many nights in my little log cabin studio, blasting music by Enigma over the mountain top. My aim was to represent my inner strength by using the oak tree as the symbol. Working through challenges, I used my brush to punch a few holes into the canvas. I was ready to destroy the painting. After some Soul-Searching, I decided instead to fill the holes with Quartz Crystals ........ and in this excitement, I took the drill and made many litttle holes into the tree which I filled with tiny Herkimer Crystals.Talk about STRENGTH & stretch of imagination!!!Why music? --- The stimulation that I receive from powerful music never fails to connect me with the core of my Soul Being, the source of all my creativity.Listening to the music while viewing this painting may be a strengthening experience for you too.Hope you enjoy!
