About my Paintings & How I Create

All of my paintings are reflections of places in my mind and are inspired by breathtaking landscapes that surround me. They come to life by infusing my studio with dynamic music that elicit emotions and allows creative energies to flow. The brilliant sound quality of my  Kirksaeter Speakers transform my studio into a small concert hall. The stimulation that this brings about never fails to connect me with the core of my Being, the source of all my creativity. Music is color, and the colors that I hear I put onto the canvas, combined with the images and colors from my mind. The best results come about when I follow my intuition, not focusing on technique, but rather allowing the natural creative energies to flow unrestricted throughout my body, mind and spirit. I believe that when I am present in the colors of my painting I draw from the depth of the colors of my German upbringing. The combination of all of these factors helps to create high vibration in my studio. All of this only to be further enhanced by the energy I receive from the sunshine's radiance through my window. My creative spirit is lifted by the view of the majestic Rocky Mountains yet grounded by their wild beauty.
